New Managing Director at Syreon Research Institute

After 15 years, Syreon Research Institute’s CEO, Zoltán Kaló, will be stepping down from his current position as Chief Executive, becoming Lead Partner in our organisation, and shifting his focus from the daily operational management towards managing the strategic decisions affecting and shaping the future of Syreon. Zoltán, one of our two co-founders, managed the institute for the past decade-and-a-half and played an integral role in leading our way from being a small independent research institute to the ever-growing organisation we are today with strong international partnerships around the world.

The daily management of the institute will be taken over by a new member of our team, Bertalan Jászkuti, who we would like to welcome into the Syreon family. Bertalan comes from an economics and financial background and has collaborated with our colleagues on several projects over the past years. He is the founder and former Managing Director of Heal Partners, a life-sciences-focused advisory firm with coverage on the Hungarian and the wider Central and Eastern European M&A market and has worked in senior positions at Health Technology Investments, Deloitte Central Europe, HSBC Investment Bank and CA IB Securities (formerly Creditanstalt Securities). He was also a senior lecturer on the MSc course in Health Policy, Planning and Financing at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE).
