HecoPerMed virtual workshop

Syreon coordinated a one-day virtual workshop held on the 24th September about „Guidance and 3 case studies on health economic modelling of personalised medicine”. The meeting was organized under the umbrella of the the HecoPerMed consortium jointly with Erasmus University, Institute for Medical Technology Assessment, University of Oxford, German Aerospace Center and Austrian Institute Of Technology. In the morning the keynote speaker prof. Sarah Wordsworth from University of Oxford presented key challenges in health economic modelling of personalized medicine. An overview was also given of a newly developed guidance on health economic modelling of personalised medicine and three case studies that were used to test the appropriateness of the guidance. In the afternoon the consortium partners and the invited experts discussed each case study and the guidance in separate working groups with 6-10 participants in each group.
