Prof. Jonathan D. Campbell 's sabbatical at Syreon Research Institute

2019. March 13.

Our research institute was excited to host Prof. Jonathan D. Campbell  for a 6-month sabbatical leave in 2018. Jon was interviewed about his experience in Budapest, see http://www.cupharmacyperspectives.org/faculty-perspectives/hungary-sabbatical-qa-dr-jon-campbell/

Jon’s stay with us was clearly a win-win situation, seeing we published a few scientific papers, ran workshops at major conferences together and had fun outside work hours. Jon made a major contribution to our methodological publications on multicriteria decision analysis (MCDA), a decision tool to improve transparency and consistency while introducing more fairness in health policy decisions. His proposal to develop a pilot MCDA tool to improve pharmaceutical coverage and reimbursement decision-making in the United States was recognized with Center of Excellence Award by PhRMA Foundation.  http://www.phrmafoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/01/About-PValue.pdf

Our team at Syreon Research Institute is looking forward to continuing collaboration with Jon's team at University of Colorado.
